Born in Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and studied clarinet as well as piano and cello at the world-class Hochstein School of Music. Following a successful application to The Boston Conservatory because of her love for theater in schools Sharp applied for The Boston Conservatory. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp began her journey on stage after graduating of the Conservatory. She performed in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and was in eight roles on the hilarious comedy Eat the Runt. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside writer August Wilson himself. Sharp's talents are not restricted to screen or stage. Sharp has written and written several scripts. She continues to sing, and is currently working on a full-length album in production. Sharp is an exercise enthusiast who loves to box and study Krav Maga. When not working behind or in front of the camera, or capturing music in studio Sharp enjoys long, journeys, playing piano, or hiking. Sharp is a resident of Los Angeles.
