Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Based on the shadows she observed on the ground, the artist spent many months experimenting with a method that allows objects to be represented in two dimensions on canvas. The subject instead transforms into a reproduction of itself in which the painting becomes the carrier of it's own painterly interpretation, especially in the case of alive or perishable like people or fruit. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting however the photograph is the only thing that remains. Both the painting and photographic methods are tightly interwoven that the end result is an unflat, 2-dimensional space that achieves trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension is only visible within certain places, such as near the eyes, or near hair. Meade sometimes blends her painted characters into the 3-dimensional world surrounding the figures. They are able to interact with the self-created world. The line that separates photography and painting is dissolved.
